Manny's focus is taking concepts and creating a set of documents that transforms the designer's vision into reality.
As project manager at ARCWERKS, he is inspired to find the best way to merge the elements of design, technical detail and constructability into a coordinated project.
Manny recalls first being attracted to the active, hands-on work of drawing and building architectural models as a student at Florida International University.
Knowing that simple, efficient design takes time, Manny starts each project looking to answer the question: "How can this be constructed?"
He points to Doris Italian Market as a favorite project. Working on it from start to finish, he was able to take all details and technical challenges into consideration—including the limitations of building codes— coordinating with the client and taking the design from concept through final construction.
Manny joined ARCWERKS in 2005after graduating from Florida International University with a BA in Architecture.
